Ashlene Dembicki's Biography

Meet Ash - she aspires to inspire others.

Her yoga journey started when she was about three years old. Her mother, who is also a yogi and yoga instructor, would practice in their home and give Ash a small pink towel as her mat so she could practice alongside her. This was the beginning of a lifelong journey and practice.

For Ash, yoga is a practice on and off the mat. After seeing how yoga has increased her physical and mental health, she has now devoted her life to bringing the gift of yoga to others. She is a B.A. (Honours) in Psychology Graduate, a full-time Counsellor, a VR Nature Therapy Creator and Researcher, a Registered Yoga Teacher who specializes in trauma-informed yoga, a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner, a First-Degree Black Belt, and the Founder and Owner of Zest Health Inc.

She is passionate about bringing awareness that there is more to life than just living – there is being truly alive.

Private sessions with Ashlene:

  • Foundational Yoga (60 minutes): A well-balanced yoga class where we start with slow postures and poses to awaken the body, then begin to bring more fire to the body as the class and postures progress as the class goes on.
  • Foundational Meditation (60 minutes): A deep exploration of breathwork: what meditation is, the challenges, and the benefits. Prepare to be guided through several different styles to explore and expand your life force.
  • Power Yoga (60 minutes): A strength-based class that will challenge you physically and mentally. Focusing on all related parts of our core: abdominals, back, shoulders, glutes, and legs. Low impact yet will have you feeling tight, strong, and energized.
  • Chakra Yoga and Meditation (60 minutes): This class will help unlock any energy blockages in the chakras. Opening them up to their true alignment with movement and meditation
  • Positive Psychology Counselling Class (75 minutes): There is power in positivity. Join this life-changing workshop to learn impactful positive psychology exercises that you can incorporate into your daily life. Includes movement, meditation, one on one counselling, and journalling.

Special Events with Ashlene:

  • Full Moon Ceremony: this ceremony connects with the moon, as it has completed its full cycle. The time of the full moon is the time to let go of all that is no longer serving you. Connect with the lunar energy of the moon as you shed this past cycle; leave feeling lighter and more aligned than ever. Expect movement, meditation, and rituals.

When: Feb. 24th, 2024 at 7pm (75 minutes)

  • New Moon Ceremony: This ceremony connects with the moon, as it enters in a new cycle. The time of the new moon is a time to open up to fresh beginnings. Connect with the lunar energy of the moon as you attract, manifest, and create the life you have not only dreamed of, but that you deserve. Expect movement, meditation, and rituals.

When: March 10th, 2024 at 7pm (75 minutes)

  • Positive Psychology Practices: There is power in positivity. Join this life-changing workshop to learn impactful positive psychology exercises that you can incorporate into your daily life. Includes movement, meditation, and journalling.

When: Every Friday and Sunday at 2pm (75 minutes)
