Angie Holzer's Biography 

August 17 - September 28, 2024

Dr. Angie Holzer is certified in yoga for mental health from Stanford University, where she's been teaching since 2017. 

She specializes in trauma-informed yoga, adaptive yoga and yoga for cancer survivors. She teaches a variety of classes including gentle yoga, restorative yoga, meditation and mindfulness, and power yoga classes. Angie received her doctorate in education and is currently the CEO and founder of WikiCharities, a global platform for the nonprofit sector. She loves learning new things and meeting new people. 

Private sessions with Angie (50 minutes each class): 

  • Yoga Basics: Learn the basics of yoga from breathing, proper positioning of poses, and adapting to your needs. This class is for beginners and those who want to go deeper into the basic elements of a their yoga practice. 
  • Gentle Yoga for Healing: Learn how to adapt any pose to fit your body. We will address how poses can hurt or help your body as you work to heal and improve the health of your body. 
  • Meditation & Mindfulness: Learn the basics of meditation and techniques to maintain a mindfulness perspective in your practice and throughout the day. 
  • Yoga Flow that meets your needs: This class can be adapted to your needs. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or something else?  Dr. Holzer will create a class that fits your needs, and will include an instructional sheet for you to take home.
