Tui-Na & Cupping

Tui-Na is one of the major healing systems used in China. Traditional Chinese hospitals all have Tui-Na departments. Tui- means to push and Na - means to grasp, and it is a form of Chinese massage and physiotherapy. This type of massage focuses on meridians or energy pathways, acupuncture points, muscles, tendons, joints, and soft tissue. It is also known as An Mo, which means to press and rub. Cupping is a Chinese energy healing technique using cups to produce suction that creates a vacuum and pulls the skin and muscles up inside the cup. As a result, small veins under the skin will enlarge, and more blood will circulate towards the effective area for the purpose of healing.
