The Retreat
You found us at Synergy. Now let's host your retreat.
The Retreat Costa Rica is a luxury wellness hotel perched on a crystal-quartz mountain just outside San José — where exceptional hospitality and transformative wellness come together. With 25 rooms and The Residence, an award-winning spa, anti-inflammatory gastronomy, immersive wellness experiences, and a dedicated Longevity Suite, we offer the kind of stay your group won't just enjoy — they'll remember.
For Your Group
A Costa Rican retreat that feels personal, restorative, and completely different from a standard hotel stay.
For You
One dedicated team handling every detail, so you can focus on leading — not logistics.
Let's build something exceptional for your group.
The Experience Is
What Stays With You.
Beautiful rooms, an award-winning spa, incredible food and thoughtful wellness experiences are all part of The Retreat. But what truly sets us apart is how your group feels when they're here.
From the moment they arrive, they're welcomed into an environment that feels warm, personal and completely taken care of. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at home — and when you feel at home, you can finally exhale.
That's when the real experience begins. When your group can relax enough to be present, connect, and get whatever they need from their time together — whether that's rest, bonding, healing or transformation.
Bring us your group with confidence. We'll take care of them.

We Handle The Rest.
Our team is here before you arrive, throughout your stay, and until your last guest departs. Group retreats are notoriously hard to plan — too many moving pieces, too much that can go wrong on-site. Here, that's our job, not yours.
More than somewhere to stay. Somewhere designed to bring people together.

Your Leader Benefit
Retreat leaders who join us through Synergy receive two exclusive offers, on top of the leader stay benefits by group size — our way of saying the leaders who bring groups here are the ones we most want to build with.
Speak with our team on-site for full details, or fill out the form below and we'll follow up before you've even unpacked.
